A Gummy that Disappoints – VIBE – Bomb Pop Rosin Gummies – 250 mg

The assiest.

Alright. It has to be done. As much as I love to blow sunshine up asses and make people feel real warm and fuzzy inside, there are times when I just cannot abide. This is one of them.

I love my gummies, I will say. I am one of the lucky ones that really gets a good high from a gummy and while they take longer to settle in, the effects are long-lasting and helpful for whatever ails. I like that gummies are often formulated for targeted responses and experiences, and generally speaking, I get what I’m looking for.

Usually the flavors are pretty spectacular. It’s one of the products that can be a heavy-hitting THC product without a heavy-hitting THC taste or scent. The biggest issue I usually have with gummies is their sugar coating. Usually.

Recently I bought a package of gummies by Vibe. I generally have had good experiences with Vibe products, and they have been top tier for flower. I thought with Bomb Pop flavor it’d be a nice, fruity something delicious.

I assumed the fact that they were infused with Rosin was going to mean there might be more of an actual “weed” sort of flavor or smell to them, but I didn’t anticipate that they would taste like chemical ass.

I wanted to like them; I really did. For the first 2-3 I thought maybe I was being too dramatic and there was no way they were that terrible. I kept them in my bag for a long, long time. Until, similar to how one feels after fully healing from childbirth, as time progressed my memory of the terrible thing faded. With time, I thought I had imagined the worst of it. Surely something named “BOMB POP” was going to be a banger. Surely those cherry and lime and raspberry flavors really were there and I must have eaten the first few too soon after a delicious meal, or maybe before the flavors had really cured enough, or possibly when the planets were out of alignment.

But it was not to be. The strong chemical-assiness had only increased in potency. Eventually the summer sun got to them and the last 4-5 melted together in a hot, gelatinous mess one day, but you better believe I plugged my nose, got my Dr. Pepper Zero chaser ready, and forced the rest of that mess down.

Vibe, I don’t know what to tell ya. Maybe stick to flower? Maybe a different flavor? Maybe not rosin-infused? Maybe the terpenes steered ya wrong?
