Mood: August. It’s churning outside, thudding and heavy. Whether wind or rain or oppressive humidity, August imposes its will.
Music: Started with “The Adults are Talking” by The Strokes, at the moment it’s “Lovesong” – The Cure, and they’re both direct hits right to the August bone.
Company: Tire Fire preroll by Good Day Farm. I picked this up, along with ICC x AM, yesterday on one of my trips to The Outside.
ICC x AM was the first to go. Last night it was a relaxing after dinner mint, with its sweetness and calming effect. Much appreciated after a long day.
This morning I’m starting with Tire Fire. It’s another heavy hitter and has a bit of a spicy lick to it. I took a solid hit and said to myself, “is that what they mean by ‘wavy gravy’?” It was a nice, calming wave that started in my head and kneaded its way through my muscles. I just sat with it a minute and let myself be.
Both very enjoyable experiences, for sure!
