I have been disappointed by the “girl scout cookies” name many times, solely because I feel like with a name like that, they’re blatantly advertising a weed strain that somehow reminds me of cookies. I’ve tried this strain from different brands in different forms, and none of them have lived up to whatever hype I imagined in my head – however, it’s still a strong contender for a reliable high with the indica chill I usually am seeking.
This particular strain from Drool has a terpene mix of beta-Caryophyllene, Humulene, Limonene, Linalool, and beta-Myrcene. The limited knowledge I have of terpene effects are that most of those are strong floral, earthy, herbal sorts of scents and flavors, so I’m once again wondering who picked the name, but probably that’s just me being chubby.
I will say that I get the distinct sense of dill pickles when taking a hit, though I have yet to have anyone confirm such a flavor profile, so I’m not sure exactly how accurate that is. But I’ve definitely gotten the dill pickle vibe every time I’ve tasted this Drool Girl Scout Cookies pen.
The 2g pen means it’s going to last through the week+, and the pen design itself is nice, sturdy, and simple. Easy to charge, easy to see how much is left in the window, and not likely to break – ever. I can’t imagine a situation I would have to put this thing through to cause it to leak or bust open. It has a straight-forward USB-C charger, so a basic and functional design, if a little bland. There’s no indication of the strain, size, potency, anything, once the packaging is removed. The lil’marijuana sticker is easily removed to completely make it an incognito “pen” to hold in your hand without announcing you’ve got a THC vape with you.
The packaging’s QR code didn’t give me any valueable information. It just led to an ad, not even a page about the product in my hand. sigh
I am still working on getting the data up and running for Show Me Grow Info, which might possibly have some of the CoA information for this strain, but as of this moment I’ve got nothin’.
